Simon Abbott
Senior Manager
I have been with Humphrey & Co since 1997 and have seen it quickly grow and keep pace with the constant changes in technology. I assist in helping a mixed portfolio of clients, from start-ups to LLP's and well-established family run companies. I have a good knowledge of personal taxation, VAT and have payroll experience. In 2015 I became Xero-certified enabling me to help our growing client base who use this excellent software. When I'm not following my favourite football team, my spare time is filled with the frustrations of finding a reasonable standard of golf.

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2012 having qualified with the ACCA in 2009. I work with a variety of clients providing general accounting and tax advice.

Client Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2015 and trained as an apprentice to qualify as an Accounting Technician (AAT) in July 2017. I have since qualified as a Taxation Technician (ATT) in January 2019 and as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in January 2024. I work for Partner Craig Manser assisting with his wide portfolio of business clients, particularly the tax affairs of Barristers.
Marco Belim MAAT ATT ACA
Senior Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co as an Apprentice in September 2015 and have developed my career with the firm ever since, completing a number of professional qualifications along the way before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in April 2021. I work closely with Greg Penfold as part of the Dental and Medical team, providing accountancy and taxation advice to a wide range of clients. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, getting out for walks, gaming, and spending time with family and friends.

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2018 and am based in the Eastbourne office. I work for partner Craig Manser providing a wide range of business and taxation advice for both individual and corporate clients.

Richard Cloake MAAT ACA CTA
Client Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co as an apprentice in September 2017. After completing my AAT studies, I qualified as an Accounting Technician in November 2020. I then progressed to the ACA qualification, becoming a Chartered Accountant in February 2024. Most recently, in July 2026, I qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
I am based in our Hove office, where I work closely with Partner Mike Bryan, assisting with a varied client portfolio. While I am part of the specialist Dental Team, I also support clients across a wider range of industries, helping them with their accounting and tax needs. Outside of work I enjoy watching football, socialising with friends, and playing golf.
Gemma Coates MAAT ACA CTA
Senior Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in 2012, completed my Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification in 2014, my Chartered Accountancy (ACA) qualification in 2017 and my Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification in 2022. I work closely with Senior Partner Anthony Smith providing accounting and taxation advice. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, taking walks over the South Downs and playing stoolball for a local team. Whilst at Humphrey & Co I have taken part in a half marathon and a sky dive in aid of charity.
Leah Crellin MAAT FCA
Senior Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in 2018, having worked in accountancy practice since 2008. I achieved my AAT qualification in 2010 and completed my ACA qualification in 2015.
I am a Senior Manager in Karen Wicks’ team, specialising in the dental industry. I enjoy the variety and fast pace of my role, particularly adapting to the constant changes within the profession and helping clients navigate them with confidence.
The part of my role I enjoy most is working closely with clients, getting to know their businesses and supporting them as they grow. It’s especially rewarding to see them achieve their financial and business goals and know I’ve played a small part in that success.
Outside of work, I have two young boys who keep me very busy. When (or if!) I do get some spare time, I enjoy musicals, going to the theatre and paddleboarding.
Dan Earl BA (Hons) FCA

I achieved my BA Honours degree in Accounting and Finance in 2007 and my ACA qualification in November 2014. I started working for Humphrey & Co in September 2020, as part of the Lloyds of London specialist team I assist partner Lewis Hampton with accounts and tax work for individuals, limited companies and partnerships.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching films and playing computer games.
Helen Fox MAAT ACIPP
Payroll Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in 2005 and qualified as an Accounting Technician with the AAT a year later. I then went on to study payroll with the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals and became the firm's Payroll Manager in 2010. I look after a varied and expanding client base.
Kristian Fuller FMAAT FCCA
Senior Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2013 from another accountancy practice in Sussex. I qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT) in 2005 before becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and have over 20 years of experience in the profession.
I work closely with Ian Simpson, as a Senior Manager in our Hove office and also as a member of our wider Dental and Medical team. I provide accountancy, taxation, and business advisory services to our diverse portfolio of clients. Having been with Humphrey & Co for over 12 years, I have developed strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and take pride in delivering practical, trusted advice tailored to their needs.
Outside of work, I'm an avid armchair sports fan and a loyal Manchester United supporter (for my sins!). As a family man with two children, life outside the office is always busy!
Gemma Gaines MChem (Hons) FCA CTA
Senior Manager
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2015 and have over 15 years’ experience in practice. I joined Humphrey & Co in 2021 looking for a new challenge and I have since qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser. I am based in our Hove office and work as a member of Ian Simpson’s team, assisting with accounts and taxation work for his portfolio of clients as well as assisting with Trust Accounts and Taxation.
I live in sunny Shoreham-by-Sea and when I’m not working, I enjoy watching cricket, catching up on some good TV or spending time by the sea.’

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2014. I have completed my accounting technician (AAT) qualification and I am currently studying towards my Tax Technician (ATT) qualification. I am part of the Dental and Medical team working for Partner, Karen Wicks. Outside of work I enjoy taking part in a variety of sports including cricket, golf, football and basketball. I regularly take part in a six a side football league with colleagues and a squash league also run by Humphrey & Co.

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016, having joined Humphrey and Co in 2013 after completing a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath. I work closely with partners Emily Smith and Craig Manser providing audit and accounting services for corporate and charity clients.
Matt Lakin BSc ACA
Client Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in 2014 having completed a Mathematics degree at the University of Kent, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2018.
I am part of the Lloyd’s of London specialist team and assist Lewis Hampton and Emily Smith with accounts and audit work for corporate bodies associated with the Lloyd’s insurance market.
Outside of work I enjoy listening to live music and watching Chelsea play.
Vikki Logan FCA CTA TEP
Private Client Tax Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in 2025 having previously worked in Big 4 and medium sized provincial firms, including 7 years in the Private Client Team of a large law firm. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant (1994), Chartered Tax Adviser (1997) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (2004).
I am part of the Tax Team in Eastbourne supporting Kevin Hancock and Sue Pocklington in compliance matters. The aspects of my work I enjoy the most is the personal interaction with clients and problem solving.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my horse, Pilates, reading and racing to finish knitting projects for my new grandson before he grows out of them.

I completed my AAT qualifications whilst working for a firm of chartered accountants in Lewes, and joined Humphrey & Co in 2011. I am based in our Eastbourne office and work closely with partner Greg Penfold as part of the Dental and Medical team, providing accountancy and taxation services.

I joined the firm in 2006 after graduating with a Masters degree in Psychology from Brunel University. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009 and have now progressed to Practice Manager.
Lyndsey Mantripp MAAT FCA
Senior Manager
After gaining my Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification in 2010, I joined Humphrey & Co in April 2013 and I am a Senior Manager within the firm. As part of the specialist dental team, I work closely with dental professionals, including individuals, partnership and limited companies. The team also supports clients with practice sales and purchases, providing guidance through each stage of the process. Alongside this, I manage a small broader portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
Outside of work, I have a strong interest in fitness and enjoy spending time in the gym, as well as running and swimming.

Tom Newton MAAT ACA
Client Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co as an apprentice in 2017 having completed my studies in accounting, law and business at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne. In 2020 I completed my AAT studies to becoming a qualified Accounting Technician. I then went on to achieve my ACA qualification to become a Chartered Accountant in October 2023. I work for partner Sebastian Stracey as part of the dental and medical team and enjoy interacting with clients and assisting them with their accounts and tax affairs.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing a variety of different games and going to concerts.
Ben Packer ACA CTA

I joined Humphrey & Co as an apprentice in 2014. I went on to complete my Accounting Technician qualification (AAT) in 2016, Tax Technician qualification (ATT) in 2017, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2020 and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in January 2023.
I have over ten years of experience specialising in dental and medical clients, working closely with partner Greg Penfold.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling the world and all things sport, including the never-ending battle to become a scratch golfer.
Ian Pinder FMAAT
Senior Audit Manager
I started my working career in forestry before joining Midland Bank. I have also worked in the printing industry, foreign exchange and for The Association of Authorised Public Accountants, a governing body for accountants.I joined Humphrey & Co in 1997 and became AAT qualified in 2002 and a fellow member in 2008. I am directly involved in the majority of audits within the firm and undertake Solicitors Accounts Rules compliance work. In my spare time, I am treasurer of a local cricket club and vice-chairman of a local motor sport club.
Tracy Rhys-Williams BSc (Hons) ACMA MAAT
Senior Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2024, bringing with me 25 years of experience running my own accountancy practice. After initially studying for a degree in Agriculture, I discovered that accountancy was where my true interests lay. I went on to complete my Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) in 2001.
After many rewarding years in practice, I chose to return to an employed role so I could focus fully on supporting clients without the administrative demands of running a business. I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming part of a team again working with Mike Bryan in the Hove office, and value the collaborative environment at Humphrey & Co.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, reading, visiting the theatre, and making the most of the coast with sea swims and sauna sessions. Having raised three sons to adulthood, I now have a little more time to pursue my own interests.

Senior Tax Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in 2021 after spending 15 years with another local practice. I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2009, achieved the ATT qualification in 2015 and became a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2024. Working closely with Tax Partner Kevin Hancock, I provide technical tax support, advisory services and tax compliance assistance to a diverse range of clients, with a particular focus on international tax matters.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and taking long walks in the countryside with my three miniature dachshunds.

I joined Humphrey and Co in August 2021 having previously worked with another local accountancy firm. I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2010. I am located in the Hove office and I work for partner Mike Bryan, assisting with accounts and taxation work for his portfolio of clients.

I completed my AAT qualification in 2004, achieving my ACCA qualification in 2007 . I joined Humphrey & Co in August 2015 having previously worked with another local accountancy firm and I am based in the Eastbourne office. Working closely with partner, Greg Penfold as part of the Dental and Medical team, I help provide our clients with tax and accountancy advice. I am also a Xero certified advisor and I can assist our clients on using the cloud-based accounting software.

I am based in the Eastbourne office working alongside Greg Penfold as part of the Dental and Medical team. I joined Humphrey & Co in December 2016 having previously worked for a small firm in Hastings for 18 years. I completed my Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification in 2003. I work in Anthony Smith's team assisting with accounts, VAT and tax. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family, friends and our dog Mollie.

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2018 after studying Business Management with Finance at Brunel University. I completed my ACA studies in May 2022 to become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. In my spare time I enjoy going to watch Crystal Palace play football.
Paul Turner
Senior Manager
I joined Humphrey and Co in March 2015. I graduated with a degree in Business Management and Accountancy from Sussex University in 2004. I have spent the best part of the last two decades specialising in accounting and tax for Resident Management Companies and their Service Charge trusts and I manage a large and ever-growing portfolio of clients in this field.
In my spare time I love live music events and festivals, live comedy or when I am feeling energetic, I can often be found hiking or biking the South Downs.

Cathy Wares BA (Hons) ACA
Senior Manager
I joined Humphrey & Co in July 2021 as part of the Dental Team in Eastbourne, working alongside Partner Karen Wicks.
After graduating from the University of Brighton with a degree in Accounting and Finance, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 while working at a local accountancy practice. I then spent five years in senior finance roles within the construction industry before returning to practice.
I enjoy building strong relationships with clients and helping them manage their financial affairs, enabling them to focus on what they do best.
Outside of work, I enjoy making the most of the outdoors with my husband and two children and spending quality time with loved ones.
Sarah Williams MAAT ACMA

In 2004 I qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT) and went on to become a CIMA qualified Management Accountant. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals and have significant experience in all aspects of payroll. I continue to develop my skills and keep abreast of the ever changing legislation.

Keith Axell FCCA
Chartered Certified Accountant
I have been in practice for over ten years completing my Certified Chartered Accountancy (ACCA) qualification in 2018. I also have over ten years of experience in financial services and wealth management. I joined Humphrey & Co in 2023 and I am part of the Dental team in Eastbourne working for Partner Greg Penfold. I like working on larger practices and groups of companies providing me scenarios to keep learning.
Outside of work, my time is spent with my beautiful family, but I will squeeze in a run when I can.
Charlie Ayling MAAT
Accounting Technician
I Joined Humphrey & Co in July 2024 after completing the T Level in Accounting at college. In May 2026 I completed my AAT apprenticeship to become a qualified Accounting Technician. I am part of the specialist Dental team, working closely with partner Seb Stracey, where I focus on dental accounts and tax affairs.
Outside of work, I enjoy both watching and playing football, which helps me stay active and brings a good balance to my professional life.
Stuart Barnes

I went to college and studied motor vehicle repair work. I passed all of my exams and worked as a mechanic for a while. During this time, computers in cars were becoming the norm and they were quickly becoming more complicated. I found that I was able to deal with car, computer related problems easier than some others and it caught my interest. I took various computer examinations and then worked for Lombard bank where I would process financial and land registry information via computers and maintain the backup systems. From the bank, I moved to the motor insurance industry. I took, and passed, my Chartered Insurance Institute examinations and my roles were primarily based around computers. I created automated applications to improve efficiency and worked together with the IT department. 7 years later, I moved my employment to Humphrey & Co.

I started working at Humphrey & Co in August 2019 in the New Client team. I previously worked for Volkswagen for 10 years in the Service Department.
I have also been a manager at a well-known bookshop for many years, organising events and managing a large team.
Caroline Bird
Payroll
I have 29 years' experience in payroll working for secretarial recruitment agencies, payroll bureaux and chartered accountants. I have a BTEC Foundation in Payroll Administration qualification. In my spare time I enjoy walking, playing badminton & various board games.I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2015.
Oscar Bower BSc (Hons) ACA
Chartered Accountant
I joined Humphrey & Co in August 2022 having previously been at York University completing an undergraduate degree in Economics & Finance and I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in April 2026. I am part of the Dental team in Hove working for Partner, Mike Bryan specialising in dental accounts and tax affairs.
Outside of work, my spare time is filled with the frustrations of watching my favourite football team (Chelsea FC) trying to put together a run of winning football matches. I also enjoy frequently going out and finding the best places to eat/drink near me whenever the sun is shining.
Joel Brierley MAAT ACA
Chartered Accountant
I started working at Humphrey & Co in August 2020 having just finished my AAT Level 3. I completed my Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification in 2022 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in June 2025. I work in the audit team for partner Emily Smith, where I am primarily involved in audit work for a wide variety of clients. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family as well as hikes in the countryside.
Lorraine Bruce
Client Administration Manager
I joined the firm in October 2017, in my role as Client Administration Manager I use a variety of computer systems to set-up new clients and carry out compliance checks. Before joining Humphrey & Co I worked at a local recruitment agency as Senior Administrator for nearly 11 years and earlier on in my career as a holiday rep, where my love for holidays abroad began; I especially enjoy going on cruises with my husband and daughter.
Aaron Capps MAAT
Accounting Technician
After completing my studies at BHASVIC College in Maths, Economics and Psychology, I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2019. In 2023 I achieved my Level 4 AAT qualification and became a fully qualified Accounting Technician. I am based in the Hove office, where I work closely with partner Ian Simpson and I am currently continuing my professional development by studying towards my ACA qualification. Outside of work, I enjoy watching Newcastle (the best team in the world), playing spikeball and football.

I qualified as an AICB bookkeeper with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) in 2015. I then ran my own bookkeeping practice for 3 years prior to joining Humphrey and Co, where I now work as part of the Xero team.
Matthew D’Arcy
Apprentice Accounting Technician - L4
I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2023 having passed Level 2 AAT at Bexhill College. Since then, I have completed Level 3 AAT, and I am currently completing Level 4. I work for partner Lewis Hampton completing personal and company accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and Company Secretarial work. Outside of work I enjoy boxing, watching rugby and working out at the gym.
Joe de Vivo MAAT ACA

I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2018 and achieved my Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification in October 2021. I then continued my professional studies and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in January 2025. I am based in the Hove office and work closely with dental partner Ian Simpson, supporting clients with accounting and tax affairs. Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active, playing golf and cooking.

I joined Humphrey & Co in January 2023. Prior to joining the firm I worked in the property industry as a sales and lettings consultant. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my family and friends.
Sarah Fradelos FMAAT
Accounting Technician
I joined Humphrey & Co in 2018 having worked in accountancy since the year 2000. I trained locally, becoming AAT qualified in 2004 and part ACCA qualified in 2007. I am based in the Eastbourne office and work with Greg Penfold as part of the Dental and Medical Team.
In my spare time I am kept extremely busy with my 3 children. I also enjoy family holidays
Nicole Franklyn MAAT ATT
Accountant
I qualified in 1995 and celebrated my 21st anniversary at Humphrey & Co in October 2014. I work mainly for partner Andrew Robinson and his clients and undertake a variety of roles; from bookkeeping; VAT Return preparation; company secretarial matters; accounts preparation for sole traders, partnership and companies to handling both personal and corporation tax returns.I work part time following the birth of my two children in 2003 and 2006 and when I am not running around after them I enjoy craft and baking. I have recently taken up position of Governor at my children's primary school.
Natasha Gardener ACIPP MAAT

I joined Humphrey and Co in 2015, having worked in an accounting practice for 10 years prior. I achieved my AAT qualification in 2009 and I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals. Though I have experience in accounts, payroll has always been my speciality. I enjoy working as part of a team to look after payrolls for a large range of clients. When not working, I enjoy a family adventure, teaching Zumba and partaking in productions with my local Am Dram group.
Marsela Gaxha MSc
Accounts & Tax Assistant
I hold a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Brighton, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Before joining Humphrey & Co, I gained more than six years’ experience in accountancy practice, working across accounts preparation, corporation tax, VAT, bookkeeping, payroll and CIS for limited companies, sole traders and charities.
I am a Xero Certified Advisor and also have experience using QuickBooks, KashFlow and IRIS. Earlier in my career, I worked as a university lecturer and researcher, which strengthened my analytical, communication and problem-solving skills and developed my ability to explain complex financial matters clearly.
Alongside my accounting career, I have continued to contribute to research projects involving financial modelling and emerging technologies.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and visiting new places.
Lewis Hefferan
Technical Support Assistant
I joined the IT department in 2022, where I support colleagues and infrastructure for our Eastbourne and Hove offices alongside Stuart Barnes. I find the work I do to be very satisfying as I enjoy problem solving and logical thinking.
In my spare time I enjoy programming and a bit of volleyball.
Kyle Hendy
Apprentice Taxation Technician
I joined Humphrey & Co in July 2025 as an Apprentice Taxation Technician in the Tax team, working alongside our Tax Partner, Kevin Hancock. I previously spent two years studying T Level Accounting at East Sussex College before beginning my career in taxation.
I enjoy the variety that a career in tax provides, as well as the opportunity to continue learning and develop my technical knowledge while supporting clients with their tax needs.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing football, padel and darts, as well as keeping active and spending time with friends and family.
Edward Hobbs
Apprentice Accounting Technician - L4
I joined Humphrey & Co in August 2024. I completed my Level 3 AAT qualification in February 2026 and am now working towards achieving my Level 4 qualification. I am part of the Dental team in Hove working for Partner Ian Simpson and mostly prepare dental accounts and tax returns.
In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton at my local club, watching football and spending time with family and friends.
Zoe Holford MAAT

I joined Humphrey & Co in July 2024 after finishing my T- Level in Accounting at East Sussex College. I qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT) in May 2026 and I am now part of the dental team working for Partner Greg Penfold. I work closely with my colleagues, specialising in the preparation of dental accounts and tax affairs. I also enjoy preparing accounts for a diverse range of clients alongside the dental jobs.
Outside of work I’m either baking a new recipe, listening to music, or anxiously watching Formula 1 (Ferrari fan sorry!).
Hannah Johnston AATQB ACIPP

I joined Humphrey & Co in June 2025 having previously worked in various accounts roles, most recently as a Corporate Accounts Assistant at a property management company.
I achieved AAT Level 3 in March 2025 and my Payroll Technician Certificate in March 2026.
I work alongside Julie Macefield and the Practice Management team preparing the internal accounts from client records, processing payroll, debt collection as well as all other general accounting administration for the firm.
Outside of work, I am a busy mum, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and holidaying as much as I can.

Apprentice Accounting Technician L4
I joined Humphrey & Co in July 2023 after completing my A Levels at Varndean College. I am currently an apprentice, working towards my AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting. Based in the Hove office, I work with partner Ian Simpson, where I enjoy the friendly working environment and continuing to be able to develop my knowledge and skills.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing and watching sports, particularly football and golf, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Ruliet Lakin
Trainee Accounting Technician
After working in catering and hospitality, I joined Humphrey & Co in March 2022 as an Administrative Assistant. After two years in my role, the firm supported my transition into accounting by sponsoring my AAT qualification. I achieved AAT Level 3 in July 2026 and will now be moving onto the Level 4 diploma. I am immensely grateful to the firm for providing life-changing professional opportunities.
When I’m not working, travel is my happy place. I love sneaking away for a weekend outside the UK — especially to Spain with my husband, where you’ll find me cheering on his team, Espanyol. Taking photos and videos is one of my favourite hobbies, especially when I’m spending time with my family back home in the Philippines. Those moments mean so much to me, and I treasure looking back on them once I’m back in the UK.

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2024, after completing my A-Levels at Newman College. I am currently working towards completing my AAT qualification. I work in Hove as a member of Mike Bryan’s team.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time and going out with friends and family as well as playing and watching football.

I joined Humphrey & Co in July 1990 having reached maximum potential at my previous job. Since then I have grown into my role as finance manager starting with preparing accounts from client records, processing payroll and then gradually taking on more internal administration for the firm. I now oversee the general day to day running of the office including preparation of our internal accounts, payroll and debt collection.

I joined Humphrey & Co as an apprentice in 2018. In 2021, I qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT), and in 2025 I completed the ACA qualification, becoming a Chartered Accountant. I then went on to study for the CTA qualification and, in July 2026, qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser. I am based in the Hove office, where I work for Partner, Ian Simpson. Outside of work, I enjoy going to concerts and spending time with my family and friends.

I joined Humphrey & Co as an apprentice in July 2021 and then continued to complete my AAT qualification in 2025. I am part of the Dental team in Eastbourne working for Partner, Greg Penfold specialising in dental accounts and tax affairs. Outside of work I enjoy travelling, listening to live music and playing sports such as football and padel.

I joined Humphrey and Co in 2024 as an Administrative Assistant, providing day to day administrative support to help keep the office running smoothly. My role is varied, which means no two days are ever the same, and I enjoy the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks while supporting both my colleagues and our clients. One of the things I enjoy most about working at Humphrey & Co is being part of such a friendly and supportive team.
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active through kickboxing, hiking and surfing, as well as spending quality time with my friends and family.

I joined Humphrey & Co in November 2021. In my role as Administrative Assistant, I use a variety of computer systems to keep things running smoothly. I work for partner Greg Penfold within the Dental and Medical team. Before joining the firm, I worked in a variety of industries in similar admin focused roles. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Communication with Business studies. In my spare time I enjoy spending time at the spa, sewing and walks along the beach with my Husband.

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2024 having previously worked at a small accountancy firm in Bexhill. I am currently studying towards my Level 4 AAT qualification and am part of the Dental team in Eastbourne working for Partner Karen Wicks.

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2022 and completed my Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification in May 2026. I look forward to continuing my studies to become a Chartered Accountant (ACA) over the next couple of years. I am part of one of the Dental teams in Hove, working for Partner Mike Bryan, specialising in dental accounts and tax affairs.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing netball and spending time with family and friends.

I previously worked in a multimedia production company organising events and exhibitions. I then took time off to have my son and joined Humphrey & Co in September 2014 assisting with varied tasks in the Marketing Department. My role has recently developed to managing the marketing of the firm and assisting Kate Manser, Practice Manager, with a variety of internal practice procedures.

I joined Humphrey & Co in December 2021, after spending two years at another local accountancy firm. I became a qualified Accounting Technician in May 2022 and I then went on to study ACA, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in June 2025. I am part of the Audit team in Eastbourne, working for Partner Emily Smith. Outside of the office I go to the gym regularly, attend a running club and more recently I have taken up horse riding which I am enjoying.

I joined the firm in November 2021 as part of the Xero team, after being a self employed bookkeeper for 14 years. I enjoy being part of the team and hope to progress my career here.
I have two teenage daughters who keep me busy and in my spare time I enjoy weightlifting, pole fitness, gymnastics and callisthenics. When I’m not so active you can usually find me socialising with friends.

I joined the Humphrey & Co Payroll team in July 2019 and am based in our Eastbourne office. Having worked in accountancy practices since 2012, I’ve developed extensive experience in payroll and enjoy helping clients with all aspects of their payroll needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, making memories with my two children, keeping active, and catching up with friends.

I work for partner Craig Manser assisting in compliance and taxation work for his diverse portfolio of clients. In my spare time, I love to watch and compete in motorsport which I have done since I was very young.

I have many years of payroll experience working in both the public and private sectors. This includes several NHS hospitals and government departments as well as busy payroll bureaux for other accountancy practices. I qualified with the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) in 2002. I joined Humphrey & Co in 2013 where I look after the day to day payroll administration for an interesting and varied client base.

My working background has mainly been reception and administrative duties working in a GP surgery, chiropractic clinic and a personal alarm company. For 5 years I owned and ran a successful dress agency which I absolutely loved.

I am currently working towards become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, alongside working as part of the dental and medical team for partner, Karen Wicks. Outside of the office, I enjoy travelling and experiencing new cultures, as well as playing and watching a variety of sports including golf, tennis, and football.

I worked as Cabin Crew for British Airways for nearly 10 years before clipping my wings to have a baby. I now have two cheeky little monkey’s and felt ready to take on a different customer service role at ground level rather than 30,000 feet! I joined Humphrey & Co in September 2018 and really enjoy being part of the team.

I joined Humphrey & Co in 2024 when I returned home to Eastbourne after having my beautiful daughter. I completed my Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification in 2020, and I have been Xero certified since 2018. I am part of the Dental team working for Partner Greg Penfold specialising in dental accounts.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, taking walks along the beach and I am a keen performer, having danced in many shows around Eastbourne. Formerly my profession, dance is a passion I hope to pursue for many years to come.

I began my career at a local accountancy firm, where I gained two years’ experience before joining Humphrey & Co in 2021. In January 2023, I completed my AAT Level 4 apprenticeship and qualified as an Accounting Technician. I went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in April 2026, following completion of my ACA qualification. I now work closely with partner Kevin Hancock, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across compliance and taxation matters. In my spare time, I enjoy attending a wide range of sports events and indie rock concerts.
