Jodie Missenden - My Fundraising Story

Posted 12th December 2016

Jodie Missenden, our trainee apprentice who works in the Hove office, took part in the Brighton Santa Dash on 10th December along with her family and friends. Even Gary her pug took part! Jodie’s mum Angie sadly passed away of cancer in December 2015 and in memory of her mum, an incredible woman who was always so giving, Jodie and her sister decided to make 2016 ‘The Year of Banjo’ (her nickname) aiming to raise £10,000 for charities that helped her mum when she was alive.

Along with their family and friends they took part in various charity events such as half marathons, marathons, Race for Life, dress-down days, bake sales and more. They exceeded their target and raised an amazing £11,181.47 for Macmillan, The Martlets and Cancer Research. Well done Jodie what a great achievement and tribute to your mum!
