Eastbourne Half Marathon in aid of JDRF

Huge congratulations to sisters Kerry and Gemma who battled torrential wind and rain during Storm Freya to complete the Eastbourne Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd March in aid of our charity of the year JDRF.
Running for JDRF was particularly important to them both, as just over a year ago life for the family changed forever when Kerry's daughter Isabella was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Isabella has taken it all in her stride, she has shown such bravery and resilience, and Kerry and her husband couldn’t be prouder of their beautiful little girl.
Kerry and Gemma raised an amazing £1,400 which will go towards funding vital research to help improve the lives of people with Type 1 Diabetes, and hopefully one day find a cure. Well done to both of you from everyone and Humphrey & Co!
